Sakernas Februari 2025 Training

Sakernas Februari 2025 Training

January 24, 2025 | BPS Activities

BPS of Tasikmalaya Regency held training for prospective National Labor Force Survey (Sakernas) officers in February 2025 at the Horison Tasikmalaya Hotel. The prospective officers trained were 3 PML and 7 PCL. They will be assigned to 16 census blocks spread across 15 districts.

Before the offline training was carried out, all prospective officers took part in independent learning for 3 days, on January 13-15, 2025. After that, they took part in distance learning via Microsoft Team for 3 days as well, on January 20-22, 2025.

Sakernas is a survey specifically designed to collect employment data continuously. From Sakernas, estimates of data and main indicators of employment are obtained such as the number of working population, the number of unemployed, TPT, TPAK, and others at the national, provincial, and district/city levels. Several employment indicators from Sakernas can also be used for monitoring SDGs and RPJMN indicators.

The 2025 Sakernas activities are carried out quarterly, namely in February, May, August, and November.

The implementation of the February 2025 Sakernas activities uses the CAPI (Computer Assisted Personal Interview) method. The February 2025 Sakernas data collection activities are carried out using portable devices (tablets/smartphones) owned by officers or called the BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) method. By using the CAPI method, officers can conduct interviews without carrying a number of physical documents, data confidentiality is maintained, and data can be sent immediately after data collection is complete, so that data can be obtained in near real time and can be monitored via the FASIH dashboard.
