Abstract

Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) is one of the economic data sets that can be used to evaluate the economic development performance of a region (province or district/city). This data set can also be used for other purposes, such as as the basis for developing economic models in order to formulate policies, the level of velocity of money, financial deepening, tax determination, export and import studies and so on.
This publication specifically discusses GRDP according to the expenditure / final demand approach. This approach is broken down into several components, namely: Household Consumption Expenditure, Consumption Expenditure of Non-Profit Institutions Serving Households, Government Consumption Expenditure, Investment (Gross Fixed Capital Formation and Inventory Changes), Foreign Exports, Foreign Imports, and Inter-Regional Net Exports (inter-regional exports minus inter-regional imports). The GRDP data in this publication uses the base year 2010, and has implemented the concept of System of National Accounts 2008 as recommended by the United Nations.
